Viewed this school while considering moving to Corinth. It is like stepping back into the 1960's. The teachers are allowed to use corporeal punishment or "paddeling" as the principal refereed to it. No active student government with a democratic electoral system. The rate of graduation is poor and there is no focus of continuing education to four year colleges. When asked how many of the seniors have been accepted to an Ivy League school the principal stared blankly. Students attending at the time relayed that there is no legal separation in church and state- teachers regularly engage in evangelism, prayer at events etc. I left wondering if I was actually in America or had crossed the Mexican border.
